Devon House is one of Jamaica’s most commemorative pieces of architecture. Originally built in the late 1800s, Devon House has been beautifully maintained and was declared a national monument in 1990 by the Jamaica National Heritage Trust. In designing for behaviour, articulation of space can be used to change the behaviour of occupants as comfort zone vary per occupant. Keeping in consideration the scale of the space, identity of the place, placement of seating and width of passages, this will aid in the circulation and comfortability of zoned spaces.
